добр / бодр править
When I was looking around for examples of how this Swedish word is used (which in English translates to encouragement), I found one in Gogol's "Overcoat" (parallel text here, Участник:LA2/Шинель). But the Russian text (from Wikisource) contains одобрение, not ободрение. Are the two words synonymous? Or did someone make a mistake in editing or translation? --LA2 (обсуждение) 16:05, 30 апреля 2016 (UTC)
- No, they are not synonymous. "одобрение" means that someone says your work is good. "ободрение" means that someone says good words for you when you're unhappy or don't believe that something will be good.--Cinemantique (обсуждение) 16:47, 30 апреля 2016 (UTC)
