Различие между версиями «Обсуждение участника:RoadTrain»

: As of that sentence, I would say something like: Он сомневался, что ему когда-нибудь это предложили бы. Ever here stands for когда-нибудь. But it's hard to correctly translate out of context.--RoadTrain (обсуждение) 15:50, 27 мая 2014 (UTC)
: Just wanted to note that your translation is generally correct, though a bit too literal/verbatim.--RoadTrain (обсуждение) 15:57, 27 мая 2014 (UTC)
::Thanks! I do realize that I have that problem. That is why I typically work the other way around: I take a Russian example, either from here or the internet and then come up with the best way to say it in Dutch. Problem is that that does not necessarily produce the word i am trying to examplify, so it is a bit of a redious process. Of course I could also be copying bad Russian from the internet and must rely on people here to correct me. The examples here are often too literary to be of much use to me.
