Just a Bulgarian with various interests. Wikipedia user since 2005, and Wiktionary user since around 2017. My username is a reference to Chernorizets Hrabar, and is pronounced [t͡ʃɛrno'rizɛt͡s]
in modern Bulgarian.
I'm particularly fond of historical linguistics, with a focus primarily on Slavic and Germanic languages. In fact, for the longest time, Wiktionary was fueling my addiction to discovering non-obvious cognates between Slavic and Germanic 🙂 These days, I'm doing my own little part in expanding Bulgarian coverage in the dictionary.
I'm active primarily on English Wiktionary. I sometimes use Russian Wiktionary when researching etymologies and cognates. I can understand a fair amount of written and spoken Russian due to the mutual historical influence between Russian and Bulgarian, but I can't write or speak it myself.
